The Challenge
A Surry Hills women's fashion label with a strong Instagram organic following of 28,000 and a Shopify store generating AUD $45,000 monthly revenue — almost all from organic social and word-of-mouth. The founders had invested AUD $6,000 in a Meta Ads campaign with a previous agency and generated a 1.4x ROAS — barely covering ad spend, let alone agency fees. Google Shopping had never been set up. Klaviyo had been installed but only a basic welcome flow existed, leaving significant abandoned cart and post-purchase revenue uncaptured. The founders wanted to scale to AUD $150,000 monthly revenue within twelve months without sacrificing the brand aesthetic they had spent three years building.
Our Solution
We audited the existing Meta Ads account and identified the core issue: broad-audience prospecting with no product catalogue integration and no retargeting segmentation. We rebuilt the account around Dynamic Catalogue Ads, seeded lookalike audiences from the top 5% of Shopify purchasers by LTV, and created a three-stage retargeting funnel. Simultaneously we launched Google Shopping (Standard and Performance Max) with a fully optimised product feed and category-level bidding.
